From now until October 31, you can complete a selection of Dreamlight challenges in the “Village” tab, including stuff like making a 3-course Halloween meal, wearing masks, and more. Fourteen years is a long time to wait between sequels, but Fable–the first game in the action-RPG series since Fable 3 in 2010–was finally unveiled earlier this year during Summer Game Fest. While we haven’t seen a new trailer since then, a new report says the upcoming sequel will have combat mechanics similar to CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3.

Windows Central’s Jez Corden recently disclosed that he was shown alpha footage of Fable that had “CD Projekt RED DNA” in the way the main character handled herself in battle. He also noted that the combat flowed smoothly from melee weapons like swords to magical attacks, not unlike the way Geralt fights in The Witcher 3. Corden said it wasn’t one-to-one like Geralt, but it was enough to impress him.

World of Warcraft will finally receive player housing alongside its Midnight expansion, and Blizzard has now revealed the first real details on what players can expect from the highly anticipated feature more than 20 years in the making.

For starters, Blizzard made clear in a blog post diving into the feature that everyone who wants a house in Azeroth will be able to obtain one. There won’t be hefty gold requirements, limited plots of land for which players compete via a lottery system, or taxes to pay. Players who let their subscription lapse or skip an expansion or two won’t log on one day to find someone else living in their former home.

“As part of our focus on wide adoption, we wanted to ensure that housing is available to everyone,” Blizzard said. “If you want a house, you can have a house.”

In 2010, Shrek Forever After was supposedly the end of the main Shrek franchise, not counting the two Puss in Boots spin-off films and animated series that followed. However, the fan favorite ogre is poised for a comeback. Eddie Murphy has revealed that voice recording for Shrek 5 has already begun, and a spin-off film for his character, Donkey, is also on the agenda.

“We started doing [Shrek 5] four or five months ago,” said Murphy during an interview with Collider. “I recorded the first act, and we’ll be doing it this year, we’ll finish it up. Shrek is coming out, and Donkey’s gonna have his own movie. We’re gonna do Donkey as well. So we’re gonna do a Shrek, and we’re doing a Donkey [film].”

Murphy also clarified that the Donkey spin-off movie hasn’t started production yet, and it will be the next film after Shrek 5. “I started recording Shrek, I think it’s coming out in 2025, and we’re doing a Donkey one next,” said Murphy.

Tom Henderson spoke with a former developer who said Battlefront 3 was rejected because, under the terms of EA’s current licensing deal with Disney, a potential third Battlefront game would need to sell 20% more copies to generate the same amount of revenue. Nvidia might be relinquishing its efforts to acquire chip maker Arm after facing numerous hurdles presented by regulators, according to a new report.

A Bloomberg report cites sources in Nvidia that are privy to the company’s plans to abandon the $40 billion acquisition. Final Fantasy XIV is getting a new data center travel system, and Square Enix has now explained how it works in a detailed blog post.

As it currently stands, players in Final Fantasy XIV are essentially locked into the data center they originally made their characters on and are only able to play the game with other players in that same data center. There are physical data centers for various regions like North America and Japan, followed by what Square Enix calls logical data centers, which each house multiple Worlds, aka servers.
